Saltgrass Ranch LLC (“Saltgrass Ranch,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing high-quality meats and provisions. Due to the perishable nature of our products, this policy outlines the conditions under which returns, refunds, or credits may be considered.
Perishable Goods Policy
All products sold by Saltgrass Ranch LLC are considered perishable food items. As such, all sales are final once an order has been fulfilled, shipped, or picked up, except as expressly stated below.
Temperature Control & Food Safety Disclaimer
Saltgrass Ranch LLC takes food safety seriously and follows established handling and storage practices while products are in our control. Once products leave our facility—whether by local pickup or carrier delivery—responsibility for proper handling, storage, and temperature control transfers to the customer.
All products must be stored, transported, and handled in accordance with applicable food safety guidelines upon receipt.
Local Pickup Orders
For orders designated for local pickup, customers are responsible for inspecting their order at the time of pickup.
Failure to inspect the order at pickup constitutes acceptance of the product as delivered.
Local Pickup – Food Safety Responsibility

Customers selecting local pickup are responsible for ensuring that perishable items are promptly refrigerated or frozen following pickup.
Acceptance of a local pickup order constitutes acknowledgment that the product was received in satisfactory condition and at appropriate temperature.

If we determine that the issue resulted from an error on our part or during transit, we may, at our discretion, issue a replacement, refund, or store credit, subject to availability.
Wholesale & Business-to-Business (B2B) Orders

Due to the nature of wholesale pricing and custom specifications, returns are not accepted for wholesale orders. In the event of verified error or quality issue attributable to Saltgrass Ranch LLC, resolution may be provided in the form of a credit toward future purchases, at our discretion.
Wholesale customers are expected to have appropriate food safety and temperature control procedures in place.
Custom Cuts & Special Programs
Products produced to custom specifications, limited releases, or special programs (including dry-aged selections) are non-refundable and non-returnable once confirmed.
Cancellations & Order Changes
Orders may not be canceled or modified once production, preparation, or fulfillment has begun. Requests for changes must be submitted promptly and are subject to approval and availability.
Shipping Delays & Carrier Issues
Saltgrass Ranch LLC is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, incorrect delivery information provided by the customer, or circumstances beyond our control.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds or credits will be issued to the original form of payment or as store credit, as determined by Saltgrass Ranch LLC. Processing times may vary depending on payment provider.
